I don’t know if there is a connection to Haslams and an Enron type operation; but,  you might want to check out a company once owned by Southern Company (remember I told you Tom Ingram is a lobbyist for them and they are part of Oak Ridge). The name of the company is called Mirant and was the equal and competitor to Enron. Both were energy brokers that would buy from the utility companies and broker the prices for much higher rates. This resulted in sky-rocketing energy rates where people with low incomes could not pay their bills. Well, as soon as Enron fell the stock of Mirant went through the floor putting them in Bankruptcy. There were calls by Southern company employees to investigate the officers of Southern company. It was hushed by spinning off Mirant which then stood on its own with everyone expecting it to collapse. Mirant filed for bankruptcy and the CEO of Southern company who had retired (___________). He also invested millions of his own money. They worked their way back out of the hole and merged with an electric company. Guess where that company is located? Your guessed it, Houston Texas the same place where Enron was headquartered. 

Going an additional step, each of the CEOs of Southern company past and present have been on the boards of SunTrust bank, Equifax and many other major companies. Both Southern company and SunTrust Bank are starting to increase their presence in Tennessee. They merged with RR and became GenOn. I will bet their BOD  and major investors will tell a lot.
